Google has opened up the API for Google+ to the iOS developers today, just ahead of the native Google+ for iPad app , which is to come out this week.
Google has been making some huge improvements to their social network lately, and the want by the developers for a proper and official API for Google+ has now been met. Google is opening up an API for the iOS developers! But at this point the API is still fragile and Google has warned people not to really release the app until the API is stable!
One of the major feature from the new API is the Google+ sign in button, that app developers can use to make people sign in with the Google+ API. The next major feature with the API is the share and +1 button. So with this, the developers would be able to let their users +1 the content that are being displayed inside the app. This is not all. The API is also opening up for the developers to include social profiles, circles and much more. Probably, Google will also open up a Hangout API in the future to let the users start live hang-out via browser from within the App, which would be exciting!
