Anonymous brings down MTNL website to protest against Internet Censorship in India!

Anonymous India has brought down the MTNL website to protest against the Internet Censorship in India. The infamous hacker group has been taking down a lot of websites of the Internet Service Providers who agreed to censor the content to their users lately and MTNL is their new target.

Internet Censorship has been the buzz word in India lately and now, Anonymous has come into the picture to protest against this move by the government. The hacker group has been hacking a lot of India ISPs’ website like Reliance, and BSNL, who had agreed to censor the content for their users, and now they have brought down the MTNL website to hold their protest.

Talking about this protest, Anonymous India says:

”We are against Internet Cencorship. Instead of blocking few URLs the ISP blocked the whole domain of various file sharing websites. The HC Madras, DoT didn’t isssue any list of websites to be blocked still ISP supported internet censorship.”

Moreover, Anonymous has already spread their word about City wide protest to bring down Internet Censorship in the country. The people participating in the protest are being asked to get the Anon mask and come in a full black dress to protest in the streets on their respective cities!
