All Meebo mobile apps are shutting down on July 11th!

Just days after Google acquired Meebo, the online chat service, the company has decided to shut down a few services and all the mobile apps that Meebo had.

Google acquired Meebo almost immediately and now, the company has shut down a few services. The services that are coming to rest include Meebo Messenger, MeeboMe, Sharing on Meebo and also to the saddest part, all the mobile applications that Meebo had.

However, these services will come down on July 11th and users will be able to retrieve all their data before this date from the Meebo servers, including the chat history, sharing history and other files that are hosted on the Meebo servers. Meebo has also officially announced this on their blog and with this, we might expect some apps to come from Google with the help of Meebo!
