You can now purchase Galaxy Nexus accessories from Google Play Store!

Looks like Google has planned to do more with their new Google Play Store. The company has started selling Galaxy Nexus’ Accessories from their new store and can be purchased via all versions of Google Play Store.

While the Galaxy Nexus phone can already be purchased from the Google Play Store for a long time now, they have added the devices’ accessories to their inventory. There are three accessories that are available for purchase now: A Vehicle Dock, HDMI Desktop Dock and a Pogo Pin Dock. These accessories are priced at $54, $49 and $54 respectively.

Now that the company has started off with accessories, we just have a bit of expectation that they might also allow people to sell their own products on the Play Store. These accessories are compatible with the GSM versions of Galaxy Nexus and not supported for the Nexus device that comes with Sprint or Verizon.

We are expecting some announcement at Google IO this year about the future of Google Play Store. And we think they would soon start selling products from other vendors. This would generate a lot of revenues to the vendors since users would find it absolutely easy to purchase stuff on their devices.
