If you are planning to get something that’s rare, and if you love Steve Jobs, then this is the right time to start saving money. A complete four-page memo written by Steve Jobs himself and a working Apple I motherboard is going to be auctioned by Sothebys.com on June 15th!
There are not many Apple I computers existing in the world and now, looks like someone over at Sothebys.com is selling this rare device with a working motherboard to the public. The motherboard was originally created by Steve Wozniak, Co-Founder, Apple and the auction is starting at $180,000. The motherboard also comes with the original user manual that came along with the computer and also, a BASIC programming guide and a cassette tape interface.
Besides this, there’s also another material that’s up for auction. Its the Steve Jobs memo, which was written by himself, addressing Stephen Bristow, a supervisor at Atari. This memo would start auctioning upto $15,000. The memo also reveals some circuit diagrams used at Atari.
