SpaceX’s Dragon Capsule is all set to make its first flight back home today at 3:30AM EDT. The capsule would undock itself from the International Space Station and return back home.
SpaceX launched its first commercial rocket into the space successfully with a struggle, but then, everything went well once it lifted off. The Dragon capsule docked successfully into the International Space Station and transferred over 2000 pounds of materials required by the team over there at ISS. And now, the capsule is done with its job. It will now be making a return into Earth and get ready for its next flight.
If you need to watch this historic return to home, there are two ways in which you could watch it. One is using the NASA TV, which will cover the departure of the capsule from ISS. And the other is that the coverage cameras will be from the capsule itself, after it deorbits from the space and enters the Earth. The live coverage will start from 3:30AM EDT on May 31st and the capsule is scheduled to land on 6:30AM EDT, and it depends on various factors of the atmosphere.
NASA has already started off with the coverage from the ground team. The actual docking will start soon!
