The hugely popular music streaming service, Rdio has stepped into the United Kingdom and France this summer, offering a 7 day free trial of the service to its users who subscribe.
Rdio has been here in the US for sometime now, and the service, which is very well crafted and has a very intuitive UI, has posed a major threat to the music streaming giant, Spotify. There were reports earlier that the company was striking a deal with major record labels in the UK to bring the service to the country and now, it has finally arrived. The service starts at £4.99 / month for web-only streaming, and £9.99 a month for unlimited streaming and mobile access.
The company is yet to announce this officially, but we know this from various tweets that people had sent over twitter. The company is also trying to expand their streaming service to other regions too pretty soon, and reports now suggest that they are already in talks with some territories.
