Sony has announced Xperia Go and Xperia Arco S Android phones with Dual-Core processors, running Android 4.0. Both these phones carry a IP67 certificate, showing that they are water and dust resistant.
Xperia Go and Xperia Acro S are the two new devices that Sony has unveiled today, which comes with a dual-core processors and a HD screen in them. The devices carry a IP67 certificate, since these devices are dust and water resistant. Now, let’s have a deeper look into these devices.
The Xperia Go features a 1GHz dual-core processor along with the regular water and dust resistant surface and also, the phone can detect wet fingers placed on it. Besides this, the device comes with a 5-megapixel camera in it , a 3.5-inch Reality Display running BRAVIA Engine for enhanced graphics. The device will be available in the Europe later this quarter and in the US market after hitting the Europe market.
The next big phone that Sony unveiled today was Xperia Acro S. This beast sports a 1.5GHz processor with 1280 x 720 display resolution running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Compared to Xperia Go, the Acro S sports a 12-megapixel camera and can record videos in HD. Acro S is expected to arrive in the Japan later this quarter and will hit other markets soon after the launch in Japan.
