We all know that the Steve Jobs’ Biopic is in the making and Sony pictures is readying for the cast and crew who would be working on this movie. Today, the studio announced that they have signed with Aaron Sorkin, the man who worked on The Social Network movie, which showcased Mark Zukerberg in perfect sense.
This isn’t the first time the famous Screenwriter is working on such movies. Aaron Sorkin has experience working on some of the most successful movies like The West Wing, Sports Night and The Newsroom. But wait, here’s something more interesting. Aaron Sorkin and Steve Jobs already knew each other and we hope that Sorkin has a better understanding of the Late Steve Jobs. Jobs reportedly approached Mr. Sorkin to write for a movie with Pixar, but Mr. Sorkin put down the offer due to various reasons.
Mr. Sorkin would be adopting the pointers from one of the most popular and successful autobiography, Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson, which launched a few months back. During the announcement, Mr. Amy Pascal, Co-Chairman of Sony Pictures Entertainment said:
“Steve Jobs’ story is unique: he was one of the most revolutionary and influential men not just of our time but of all time. There is no writer working in Hollywood today who is more capable of capturing such an extraordinary life for the screen than Aaron Sorkin; in his hands, we’re confident that the film will be everything that Jobs himself was: captivating, entertaining, and polarizing.”
We think this would be exciting and the movie would be a definite hit among the crowd. Steve isn’t just another ordinary man, but he is so special to all of us!
