eBay and PayPal has had a healthy connect with the Indian IT market and now, the companies have unveiled plans to launch a new Development Center in Bangalore (Bengaluru), Karnataka. The new Development Center will serve as the center of excellence for various services that both the companies are offering. The new development center will also be the home for technologists for the companies and is expected to create lot of job opportunities in these centers.
eBay and PayPal have their own development center setup in Chennai, Tamil Nadu with over 2,200 employees already in the IT region of the city, called Sholinganallur. Talking about this move, Mr. Rajesh Ramachandran, General Manager at eBay Marketplaces says:

Regarding the Job opportunities that the company would create with the new Development Center, both eBay and PayPal are looking at hiring senior technologists from different experience backgrounds into the system and improve their product lines.
Mr. Anupam Pahuja, General Manager of PayPal thinks Bangalore is a great place to find technologically talented people who could help improve the product, which is growing at a very high rate across the globe.
