Apple’s CEO Tim Cook will take stage to open the D10 Conference tomorrow at California. There are some huge expectations from the event about what would the CEO be talking about.
Earlier last month, AllThingsD announced that Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook would be opening the D10 Conference at California. D10, the annual conference that has got a huge fanfare and also, known for bringing tech celebrities, has got Tim Cook this year. Moreover, D10 was the first conference to have Steve Jobs and Bill Gates on stage for such a long time back in 2008.
AllThingsD’s Kara says:
Walt Mossberg and I could not be more thrilled to announce that Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, will be the opening-night speaker at our 10th D: All Things Digital conference.
Moreover, this will be Tim Cook’s first ever appearance at AllThingsD conference and also, first non-Apple conference in which he would take stage. And if you are wondering what to expect from tomorrow’s Tim Cook’s speech, here’s what Jessica E. Vascelaro from Wall Street Journal says:
It will be a different type of forum for Mr. Cook, who took the job last August and still is showing what kind of CEO he plans to be. The 14-year Apple veteran is no stranger to the stage, having occupied it comfortably as he pitched new products at Apple events. He also has answered questions from investors and analysts at shareholder gatherings.
But the interview by journalists at D10, as the 10th in the series is called, is likely to provide a more wide-ranging view of Mr. Cook’s plans and personality.
It is going to be completely different kind of an experience tomorrow and we’re sure he is going to be talking a lot about the Apple’s working culture. Stay tuned!
