Audi debuts first e-Bike with built-in WiFi at 2012 Wörthersee Tour! Weighs just 3.53 pounds & Sports a carbon-fiber body!

Audi has made one another innovation this year with its new e-bike concept that is made of a carbon-fiber body and weighs just 3.53-pounds. The new bike was showcased at  Wörthersee Tour in which Audi has been rocking.

Audi, has made this bike so elegant that it now has the capability of travelling at speeds of 50MPH. The batteries are quite powerful that it can take a full charge in just 2 hours and has got one of the most advanced designs the company has ever made.

The bike also features an in-built computer on it, that has a touchscreen with the location, current speed at which the bike is travelling, the distance travelled, the slope of the plain in which the bike is travelling and much more records that would help the rider drive his bike.

Besides these, the bike’s 530Wh batteries can be charged in two other ways, other than charging it with the wall-outlet. One method is to charge the bike by pedaling. And the other way round is to charge by using the motor in the bike. The bike also has got some social elements attached to it. Users can connect the bike to their Facebook accounts to keep track of the feed as well as share your information over it. The in-built WiFi is an added advantage, which allows smartphones to get connected to the bike.

The bike was just a prototype and there are no clues as to when it will hit the market or what would be the manufacturing cost of it. We think the bike is exciting but for a longer run, it would be a super useful element of our lives!
