ASUS Launches New High-End Notebooks powered by Ive Bridge Processors in India

ASUS today launched new Notebooks for the Indian market in a special media event in Delhi, India. “It is our goal to create and deliver happiness to all our customers and it is a commitment that can never be compromised,” said Mr. Alex Huang, MD, Systems Business Group, ASUS India. Talking about the beauty of the new notebooks, Mr. Huang added:

“Crafted through innovative ASUS DNA, new N Series multimedia notebooks showcase pro-grade sound, stylish elegance, and 3rd generation Intel® Core™ processors under latest Ivy Bridge microarchitechture. Gaming Notebook Asus G75VW further redefines portable gaming.”

The company launched G75W, which is a 17.3 inch notebook with full HD 3D panel (anti-glare screen). It is powered by a third generation Intel Ivy Bridge processor along with a nVidia GeForce GTX 670M graphics card and a 16GB RAM. For storage purpose, the G75W has a 1.5 TB hard disk This gaming notebook comes loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium. This notebook is launched at a price point of Rs. 1,40,000.

Besides the G75W, the company also launched a slightly lower model of the notebook called the N56VM. It is the latest addition to ASUS’s N series of multimedia notebooks. This notebook is also powered by third generation Intel Ivy Bridge processor, and also uses ASUS’s own Super Hybrid Engine II technology for offering Instant On and Instant Connect (IOIC) feature. It is equipped with a SonicMaster premium speakers that are made specially for notebooks. The N56VM has a 15.6 inch full HD LED-backlit display and comes loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium. This beast is priced at Rs. 90,000.

The new ASUS devices are available for purchase from a variety of stores across the country. ASUS also revealed that the primary target users would be the gamers and graphic designers in the country and across the world. We’ll soon come up with the review of both the units!
