Tweetbot has been updated to version 2.2, which includes iCloud sync for already read tweets across the app and across the devices and the iCloud sync also works for the mute filters and some more minor feature improvements. Tweetbot replaced most of the people’s native twitter client for both iPhone and iPad when it got released for its intuitive and completely new UI and a lot more flexible user driven features.
I tested this build out and found that the iCloud sync is a very cool feature addition and Tweetbot has made use of the iCloud at its best. You read a tweet on the iPhone and you then jump to the Tweetbot on your iPad and you see that the tweet you already read is marked as read. And this is the same case for the DMs too.
