A recent research has revealed that iOS and Amazon users spend more money on in-app purchases when compared to Google Play customers. The results comes from Flurry, a mobile research and advertising company, which reveals that that a user spends a dollar on in-app purchases in the App Store, 89 cents in Amazon AppStore and users just spend an average of 23 cents in Google Play. This might be just because of the number of apps that has in-app billing in them, but implementing in-app billing in Google Play is a difficult task for the Android Developers.
The research was done between mid-Jan and February this year, where over 11 million active users were taken from a set of apps per day and were measured the amount of money they spent on in-app billing. There were also previous research which also revealed a similar information and App Store pulls in four-times the income of Google Play. So, from now on, may be, the comparison would turn towards iOS App Store and Amazon Appstore instead of Google Play. These are the obvious reasons why many developers are moving towards iOS development dumping Android development.
