We recently saw that the Google Chrome took over the place on Internet Explorer for just a day and Microsoft immediately declined this claim. And now, after months of struggle, Internet Explorer is back at its seat taking the first place pushing all other browsers off its path. The world’s most widely used browser has regained its market share last month, probably because of the advertising campaign that Microsoft is carrying out to promote IE and killing the Internet Explorer 6.
There’s been a lot of fights lately between Chrome, IE and Mozilla to gain market share and one smart move the Microsoft made was to go on an advertisement campaign, and this has worked out for them at the moment. But on the mobile front, iOS is still strong and has been seeing a steady increase in its usage since its launch back in 2007. Now that Windows is expanding to both Desktops and mobile devices, the IE usage might shoot up very quickly, only if Microsoft does it right and brings the already late to the market, Windows tablets soon.
