HTC has reported their results of the earnings for the Q1 2012 and their profit has gone down by 70% compared to the last quarter. The company was already under distress, since their profits were reducing by 35% year after year. The net income before the tac was NT$5,551 million for the Q1 2012 while the income drastically reduced to NT$4,464 million, which is a 70% drop when compared to the company’s earnings in the last quarter.
When contacted HTC regarding this, they believe that they can bring back their market up with the new HTC One series smartphone and also concentrating more on the Hero series smartphone this quarter. And we think this might work out for them, since our in-depth review of the new HTC One X revealed a huge potential for the company. While Samsung, HTC’s rival is on the high, HTC has definitely set the mark for the future Android phones that would come out to the market this year.
