Here’s a list of features that Google Drive offers to the users. This is probably an Unofficial Feature set of Google Drive.
It’s been sometime since Google Drive launched for the main stream audience and we have been getting our hands dirty with this enterprise targeted file storage service from Google. The new service has been offering some awesome features for documents sharing and editing across the globe, but there has also been some controversies about the service’s terms and conditions.
Even though the features are clearly mentioned in the Google Drive website, I thought there are some features haven’t been mentioned. Mainly those features that common men would be looking for. So, here’s a list that talks about the features of Google Drive and these features would be updated as and when Google Drive receives an update with new features.
Features you need to know the exists in Google Drive:
- Storing Documents are not counted in the 5GB storage space
- Google Drive lets you share files, folder or even the entire Drive to your friends and family.
- Supports a variety of file types – right from photos to photoshop files
- Google Goggles is present in Google Drive
- ‘n’ number of users can edit a document at the same time.
- Users can collaborate and work on any filetype.
- Users can comment on other people’s files, but only if they’d shared with you!
- Google Drive also support 3rd party developers. Developers can build apps for Google Drive.
These were some of the features that are worth mentioning. Some more features are yet to be incorporated and we will be updating the post as and when an update is pushed to the Google Drive.
