The most popular To-Do app for the iPhone has got its first update since its launch. The new update brings 7 new unlockable themes, based on various factors.
Clear is an incredibly simple To-Do/Task management application for the iPhone which launched with a huge fanfare. The app does not have any button in it. It takes advantage of the multi-touch gestures to create, delete and mark as task as complete. The app quickly topped the charts when it was launched a few months back. And today, the app received an update that brings 7 new unlockable themes, along with some minor tweaks and bug fixes to the application.
The new Unlockable themes can be obtained by installing the applications on the device or by completing some tasks. This is both interactive and also, is slightly pushing the users to get the paid apps to unlock the themes. And besides these, there are also 3 more unlockable themes based on some more factors.
Take a look at the criteria that would help you unlock the themes on Clear for iPhone:
- Install Tweetbot – One theme unlocks simply by having Tweetbot ($2.99) installed on your iOS device.
- Follow the creators of Clear on Twitter. This unlocks the theme “Scorched.”
- Socialite – The Socialite theme is unlocked once you’ve completed 100 tasks.
- Gifted – Gifted is unlocked when you choose to gift Clear ($0.99) to someone else once prompted by the application.
- Path – The Path theme is unlocked by having Path (Free) installed on your iOS device.
- Ultraviolet – Ultraviolet unlocks once you’ve used the Clear application for 7 days straight.
- Night Owl – Night Owl is unlocked when you use Clear between 12 and 3 am.
- The Heist – Unlocks when you have The Heist ($2.99) installed. Requires installation of The Heist update, which should come mid-week.
- Temple Run – Unlocks when you have Temple Run (Free)installed. Requires installation of Temple Run update, which should later this month.
- Bumpy Road – Unlocks when you have Bumpy Road ($2.99)installed. Requires installation of Bumpy Road update, which should later this month.
Isn’t this cool? And I think Clear is heading towards the direction where its aiming to bring interactive task manager in the hands of the customer. And not to be missed, the app is currently on sale for sometime. The price has gone down by 50% and it now costs $0.99 instead of the regular $1.99 on the App Store.
