Blogsy, a powerful Blogging app for the iPad updated with Tumblr, Vimeo and Featured Image support for WordPress!

Blogsy, a very powerful blogging software for the iPad has got a major update today with a lot of improvements. The developers behind the software has incorporated the support for Tumblr, Vimeo and some more support for WordPress. If you are a blogger and would love to use the iPad as your primary blogging device, the Blogsy for iPad would be the app you need.

The app does more than what the default WordPress app for the iPad does with a lot of features. The app allows you to edit both the Visual and HTML versions of the blogpost, and now, with this update, the app has brought access to WordPress Media Library API, Featured Image Support, Custom Field Support and much more.

We had an interview with Lance Braton, CEO of Blogsy and we quizzed him on what made him work on such a powerful app for blogging on the iPad. And he said:

We are basically bloggers and we were frustrated with what we could do on an iPad for Blogging. We weren’t happy with the blogging software that are on the iPad and they weren’t user friendly. Despite looking at the iPad as a powerful blogging tool, we still had to turn back to our desktops and laptops for managing content. So we thought, we could use the iPad as a potential device for blogging on the move and so we created this beautiful app called, Blogsy.

We also spoke about a lot of other stuff in the Interview and we would get the interview up on our Quick Channel later this week.

If there’s one app that’s making the iPad much more powerful for blogging, then it’s going to be Blogsy.

You can get the app for $4.99 on the App Store right now. And as a matter of fact, this post was completely crafted on the Blogsy for iPad.
