A recent research has revealed that Apple has tops as the Top Retailer Sales per Square Foot, and Apple Stores are 17 times better than an average retailer.
Ron Johnson and Steve Jobs got this right. Absolutely right. If there’s going to be one single place where a user could see how these gadgets can be put to real world use, that’s gotta be the Apple Store across various countries. There were a lot of criticism when the first Apple Store came up back in 2001, but Steve and Ron strongly believed that this would be just the start for a dedicated place where the consumers’ retail experience would be re-defined. And today, Apple Stores have become one of the most successful Retail Store on the US, outsing all major brands like Tiffany and Coach.
The results revealed by a new research were pretty surprising. Apple Stores are performing about 17 times better than any other average retail store in the US. The research was done by a company called RetailSales, which states that they did not find this results to be surprising, since they expected Apple to do well in this space. Yet, they were surprised about how far Apple Stores are performing when compared to other retail stores in the country.
