YouTube adds support for 4 more Indian languages! Counting to 30 Indian Regional Languages!

YouTube announced the support for 4 more Indian languages – Gujarati, Kannada, Telugu and Malayalam. This counts to 30 Indian Regional Language support on YouTube.

YouTube has been keen in bringing in the support for the regional languages and now, the largest video sharing website now extends its support for 4 more languages which include Gujarati, Kannada, Telugu and Malayalam.

The largest video sharing site launched back in 2008 and has been constantly adding support for Indian Regional Languages since then. Previously, the site supported English, Hindi, Tamil, Urudu and some more regional languages and this accounts to 30 Indian Regional Languages that the site is supporting.

These 4 language support came in due to the demand that over 200 million users in India speak Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam and Telugu. And this has now brought the total number of launguages supported by YouTube to a whooping 58.

Apart from adding support for these languages, YouTube has also partnered with some useful regional channels like Gayatriyantillu, Shemaroo Kannada, Hungama Malayalam and some more to enable easy access to these users. YouTube has also added over 100 Tollywood Cinemas (Telugu Cinemas) to the channel.
