A new study reveals that a visitor spends just 3 minutes on Google+ but about 405 minutes on Facebook per month between September 2011 and January 2012 according to the data collected by comScore and reported by The Wall Street Journal. Even though Google has been pushing its social networking platform to a lot of its services, but still the interest seems to be very low.
Following the lead of Facebook is Pinterest and Tumblr with 89 minutes of average time spend by user per month. And then comes Twitter with 21 minutes and this pushes the Google+ to just 3 minutes per month. On hearing this, Google responded back to denounce the comScore data to be very low and is not accurate than the internal data they have got on the social network.
The Google+ has 90 million users and about 60% of the users are online in the website everyday. But we doubt if this statistics are that the user is logged into any of the Google service in which Google+ has been integrated, which includes Google Search, YouTube, Gmail and Google Reader.
