Samsung has shed light on the Android 4.0 ICS update for Galaxy S II on March 19th in the United Kingdom. The company has now confirmed that they will start rolling out from March 19th in the UK. While countries like South Korea, Poland, Hungary and Sweden has already got these updates earlier.
Currently, the updates are with the careers for evaluation and the rollout will depend on the careers as to when it will hit their users. Here’s the official statement from Samsung about the release:
“Samsung UK can confirm that the roll out of Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) on Galaxy S II will be available from week commencing 19th March, however the availability of software upgrades in the UK will be dependent upon each network’s own software approvals process.”
