Sony’s new Xperia S is coming to India on April 10th and would be priced at Rs. 28,000 and Rs. 30,000. The official announcement is yet to come out from Sony itself, but we have got the information about this. The new Sony Xperia S sports a powerful 1.5GHz Dual-Core processor with a 12 megapixel camera and is capable of recording videos at 1080p. Sony Xperia S has been a hit in the UK and the US and is expected to do well in the Indian market too.
There would be no change in the configuration or the looks of the phone for the Indian edition. The phone is reasonably priced and Sony is expected to go with an pretty good ad campaign for this phone. The Sony Xperia has been getting sone really good attention already among the customers. And Sony hopes that even this would be pull in some considerable consumers for this device which runs Android 2.3. There is no word from Sony if the Xperia S would get the ICS upgrade. But since these are Sony’s feature phones, we hope they would get them soon.
