Samsung competing for Indian LTE contract and Wins two contracts in the US already!

Samsung has won two 4G contracts in the US from Top and Mid-tier mobile operators and is competing with other makers to bag one in the Indian market.

Samsung has been working hard to pull things off out of the cutting edge technologies and now, the company has won two contracts with top and mid-tier mobile carriers in the United States. So with this, Samsung would sell their gears for the two US carriers in the US for LTE. One of the Samsung’s important and biggest market in India, and the Korean based company is already working towards winning a contract in the Indian market to provide gears for the LTE networks that are expected to come out this year.

Samsung is also desperate to improve its sales numbers in the US and with this deal, the company expects to do so this year. The official announcement is expected to be made in May 2012 and Mr. I.P. Hong, Head of Marketing revealed this information. At this rate, Samsung would out pass Erricson as the largest LTE provider in Asia by 2015, according to In-Stat.

Looks like Samsung has already set their gears ready for these networks and this would be a great year if Samsung innovates on their designs. What do you say? Will you get a LTE Samsung device, or a LTE enabled iPhone that might come out this year?
