Rovio bringing Angry Birds Space to Windows Phone.

Rovio’s CEO, Mikael Hed has confirmed that the company has been building the Angry Birds Space to Windows Phone soon. In an interview to Reuters, Mr. Hed said, “We are working towards getting Angry Birds Space to Windows Phone 7,”.

Soon after Reuters published this post, there were a lot of confusion since the company’s Peter Vesterbacka confirmed earlier that they had no plans of bringing Angry Birds Space to Windows Phone devices.

Hed also added that they had to completely rewrite the code from ground-up to port Angry Birds to Windows Phone 7. There might be slight changes in the way the Angry Birds Space would work on the Windows Phone devices, but still, they would improve as the platform improves.

Angry Birds Space is already available on the iOS App Store and Android Market. The game was released last Friday and tasted a huge success immediately from the users.
