Nokia’s PureView technology coming to Lumia series of phones!

Nokia unveiled the PureView device at this year’s MWC2012, bringing in a 41-megapixel camera sensor to the mobile devices. These sensors are so powerful that they actually combine 5 adjacent pixels into one single pixel, giving us a superb quality pictures. This technology has got a lot of attention that the company is now bringing the PureView to Nokia Lumia series of phones.

Nokia’s Jo Harlow confirmed this news that the largest Finnish mobile manufacturer would be bringing PureView to Lumia family, in an interview with Aamulehti Newspaper. But the company is unsure of when this technology would hit the Lumia family, but it is coming not so far from now. If this happens, the Lumia series would be the first Windows Phone to have a superb PureView quality image sensors on the device.

Lumia has been winning a lot of good reviews from the customers, except that there are some bugs that Nokia is working to squash. If PureView comes anytime soon before Samsung or some other mobile company tries it, Nokia would probably take the place it was before.
