Nokia’s Play To (Beta) is now available for download. Brings Streaming to Lumia phones.

Nokia has been working their heads-off lately to make sure they stay in the mobile market. After offering some impressive line of devices with Windows Phone 7.5 in them, Nokia has now come up with a new Music app and DLNA streaming app called Play To.

The new Play To app lets the Nokia Lumia users stream photos and videos to a DLNA enabled devices. The app is now on Beta and the users can download the app from the Nokia Beta Labs, which has been there for a long time providing early adopters with new and beta software. The streaming support will be added to these services in the coming months. There are a lot of known issues that Nokia has stated in the changelog. The Music update is now available in the Windows Marketplace, but the Play To app is now available on the Nokia Beta Labs.

The service looks promising and these are signs that the Windows and Nokia combination is getting stronger as the days progress. Atleast, the platform is not like Android, where people don’t get regular updates from their manufacturers.
