Along with the launch of the Nokia 808 PureView mega-camera phone, the company also launched the Nokia Lumia 610, which is a entry-level mobile phone that runs Windows Phone 7.5. The phone is basically focused on the Chinese market, with a price point that is expected to be much lesser than the other versions of the Lumia series. With just 800MHz (Yes MHz) processor, 256MB of RAM, a 5-megapixel camera and the Windows Phone 7.5 (Which is yet to be released), the device is just another low-end phone from the company.
This would be the first phone that runs the yet to be announced Windows Phone 7.5, but this comes with a lot of feature cuts as we reported earlier. The new OS has been codenamed Tango, and the phone is expected to hit the market in Q2 of 2012. As far as we have been following the market, this would be a huge hit not only in China, but also in the Indian market when the device hits the stores.
