Here’s something exciting for the Windows Phone users. The long awaited Skype app for the Windows Phone is now available for you to download via the Marketplace. The app carries a Beta tag in it. But the app is reasonably stable. The new app will allow you to do all the regular Skype functionalities like making calls (Both Audio and Video) to anyone else on Skype. No restriction that the Windows Phone users with Skype would be able to communicate only with other Windows Phone users with Skype.
The app carries a Metro UI of the Windows Phone 7 and looks pretty neat. Remember that this is a public beta of the app and you may be experiencing some bugs here and there while using the app. If you still want to grab a copy of Skype for Windows Phone device, then just hit the Download button from Windows Phone Marketplace.
