Looks like there’s more than just pushing Windows Phone devices to the market between Microsoft and Nokia. Nokia has pushed a series of Microsoft apps for the Belle phones. The apps that come in the Microsoft Apps Suite are the Microsoft OneNote, Microsoft Lync IM Client, Document Connection to view Documents on the phone and PowerPoint Broadcast to view live PowerPoint presentations on your phone. These apps were unexpected and this would make the users of the Belle phones like Nokia C7, E7, C6-01, X7, Oro, 700, 701, 603 feel good since these were much needed apps for the Symbian platform for a long time.
Although these kinds of apps already exists in the OVI Store, many Business users stayed away from those mainly for their credibility. But since the suite comes from Microsoft, it would push some users to stay glued to Nokia devices for some more time. Nokia also has revealed that they have got plans for bringing Word, Excel and PowerPoint in the next consecutive update for these devices. But I could not imagine how small it would look on the device.
