Mercedes-Benz adds Siri to their upcoming A-Class cars!

Looks like Siri has got a new host. Mercedes-Benz confirmed that the company would integrate Siri into their upcoming A-Class line of vehicles soon. Daimler, a company that unveiled Digital DriveStyle App, which combines the Drive Kit Plus for the iPhone with the car’s multimedia system says that all the iPhone integration functions will work on the Mercedes-Benz’s entry-level Audio systems.

The Digital DriveStyle App for iPhone is very cool. It integrates and unifies all the social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter and keep you updated about the happenings. The app would be available for free from the App Store in the coming weeks and another notable feature is the Internet Radio and a Car Finder with access to iPhone 4S’ Siri. Having said this, Merc feels that it is the First automobile company to integrate Siri onboard, via a custom made Digital DriveStyle App. The interface and other tweaks will be made by the car company to suite more towards the car and would do well with the car’s accessory kits.

The feature complete Mercedes-Benz A Class with Siri in it will be premiered at the Geneva Auto Show next month while the company plans to bring Siri to a larger variety of cars in near future.Other than these technical advances, Merc is also working hard on its own cloud-based multimedia systems called COMAND Online, which will act as a VPN, between the phone and car’s Bluetooth device, connecting you with the cloud.

The company also aired a new commercial showcasing its advances in technology recently. Here’s the ad for you to watch!
