AT&T has officially revealed the List of Android Devices that would get the Ice Cream Sandwich update, but failed to reveal information on the timeline for these releases. This announcement comes right after HTC told that a series of their phones would get the ICS updates in the coming months. Even though AT&T has covered a hand-full of devices that would be updated to ICS, there are some key phones missing from the list:
- LG Nitro
- Motorola ATRIX 2
- Motorola ATRIX 4G
- Pantech Burst
- Pantech Element
- Samsung Captivate Glide
- Samsung Galaxy Note
- Samsung Galaxy S II
- Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket
- Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9
Some devices like the Sony Xperia Play and Samsung Infuse 4G are yet to get into this list. This might disappoint the users who had got their phones for 4G capabilities. But there is still hope that these devices would hop onto this list and receive the ICS update soon. Moreover, AT&T just revealed that these updates would be pushed in the coming months, and they did not define a deadline for the updates.
