Google I/O 2012 has been creating a huge hype among the Android bot bitten developers and as a result, Google was out of tickets for this year’s flagship event in just under half hour. The ticket sales opened up at 7 a.m. PST and the tickets were not available at around 7:27 a.m. PST. This might be Google’s record breaking ticket sales in the recent past. Google is also expected to unveil the next version of the Android OS, the Jelly Bean, even though the Ice Cream Sandwich’s adoption rate is just 1.6%.
Google later confirmed that they were out of tickets for both Academic and General audiences for the event. Google I/O 2012, a three-day event which would happen on the famous Moscone Center in San Francisco, would be help between June 27 to June 29 and we were one among those lucky people who got our tickets and also an invite from Google for the event.
