Google Docs for Android has been updated with a more intuitive interface and also with new collaborative features like real-time discussions and updates.
Google has announced that the Google Docs app for the Android devices have been updated with realtime collaborative tool and rich text formatting along with an intuitive new interface. The updated app now has some realtime editing tools and you can invite your partners to edit the documents simultaneously, thus notifying you with the users who are currently updating the document simultaneously.
With just a single tap, you will be able to join the editing members and the other members would be notified on what you are currently editing in the document. As far as I saw, the gap between the web app and the android app has reduced much.
Other than these changes, the app has also been updated to allow pinch-to-zoom allow the users to zoom in into any specific section of the document. And as I said, the rich text editing is also an added advantage. This update is a major update and if you are a Google Docs for Android user, then you’ve got to hit the update button right now!
