Looks like the battle between Google Chrome and Microsoft’s Internet Explorer is heating up. For a day, Google Chrome won the battle by surpassing Internet Explorer as the world’s most popular browser. It was March 18th this battle saw a twist and then, everything turned back to normal and IE quickly regained it’s position.
Google has been pushing it’s Chrome browser in a many ways as possible and the company also released an Android version of the browser recently (Though it would run only on Ice Cream Sandwich devices). This new statistics was revealed by the web analysts company, StatsCounter, by considering over 3 million websites with over 15 million page views for 30 days. The stats also reveal that Chrome was able to achieve this with increasing user base from India, Brazil and Russia. These are pretty good signs of Google Chrome taking the place of IE in near future. But not too soon, since IE is still dominating the web browser era on millions of PCs. And with the launch of Google Chrome for Android, it’s time to compare its usage with Mobile Safari, but at this point or anytime sooner, iOS would be dominating the mobile browsing experience.
