Carbon is a new Fully-Featured, attractive and elegant Twitter Client for the Windows Phone 7 with URL Shortening, Image Uploads, Multi-Account Management and many more for just $1.99.
Carbon, is a new Twitter Client for the Windows Phone 7 users. The app has now been released in the Windows Market Place for $1.99 and is a very unique, Metro-styled app for the users. The app comes feature complete. Right from Twitter’s native URL shortening to image uploads to multi-account management, the Carbon has got it.
The app also sports a threaded DMs and a very cool way to reply to tweets within your timeline. What’s more? Well, the user is also allowed to set live tiles (A very cool feature that I love in Windows Phone 7), to get a glimpse of what’s going on in your timeline. But this consumed a bit of my bandwidth and battery when I tested it on the Nokia Lumia 800, without Push notifications (The app does not support Push Notifications).
If you’re a iOS user, you’d probably heard about Tweetbot for iOS. Tweetbot has the images inline in your timeline, helping you view what image has been attached to the tweet. Interestingly, Carbon also does the same now on the Windows Phone, with inline image previews. The app is very easy to use and can do things really fast. I think, the $1.99 price tag is nominal for Carbon and it worth the buy!
