The much awaited ASUS Transformer Prime has launched in India priced at ₹ 50, 000 (~ $ 1,045). ASUS announced the Eee Pad Transformer Prime series last November with a 10.1-inch Super IPS+ display, 1.3GHz Quad-Core processor, running Android 3.2 on it.
Galaxy Tab 10.1 has been dominating the Android tablet market till now, but with ASUS Transformer Prime, it might change the game. The Prime is definitely promising with coll features like a 8-megapixel rear camera, and a very stable battery life on it. The Transformer Prime is thinner, lighter and better than the original Transformer Prime and this comes with a 32GB of storage available for some extra money.
But in the Indian market, the Transformer Prime seems to be a slightly over-priced gadget when compared to Galaxy Tab. On the other hand, when marketed correctly for the Indian market, this device would take the lead and give Galaxy Tab a run!
