When Tim Cook took stage to talk about the numbers, at the Special Media Event on March 7th at the Yerba Buena Center, he also unveiled the new Apple TV. He just gave a glimpse of what the new Apple TV would do and then pulled up Eddie Cue on stage to show us a demo of the new Apple TV. Eddie was all excited and he proudly announced that the new Apple TV supports 1080p video streaming and viewing and now comes with iCloud support, even for Movies. Which means, you purchase a movie from the iTunes Store on any devices and it automatically is available on your Apple TV, ready for you to watch.
The new Apple TV will still have the A5 processor in it, but the major selling point would be on the software and minor hardware changes allowing 1080p videos support. The new interface is completely easy to use and is really worth the upgrade. What’s more? Well, the price is the same. It comes for the same old $99 and it just works out of the box.
