Apple released the final version of iOS 5.1 to the public at the Special Media Event that happened in San Francisco last week, where the new iPad was unveiled. And if you’ve been wondering on what security features were incorporated into the new update, Apple has made it clear with a dedicated page on their website. Looks like Apple has been testing too hard on the iOS 5.0.1 and have fixed the bugs that many did not know about.
One of the major bug that got fixed was the lockscreen passcode bypass, which gives access to a user who has physical access to the device. Another bug that has been squashed was the Mobile Safari’s Cookies, that track the users even when they are on Private Browsing. There are a lot more bugs that has been fixed in iOS 5.1.
