Apple has sent out invites for the special media event that is to be held on March 7th, in San Francisco at 10:00 AM PDT. The invite poster clearly shows that the event would mainly concentrate on the iPad, which is expected to get a design change since the launch of the original iPad. The invite card was pretty straight forward, which read:
“We have something you really have to see. And touch.”
The event will take place at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco. And historically, this is the same place where Steve Jobs unveiled the previous generations of iPad. As you can see in the above picture, the invitation speaks a lot of things about the event.
The new device will not have a dedicated home button. And the invite itself is a clue to that. Since the home button is not visible in the screen and the calendar icon is almost at the center of the dock and the button seems to be missing. Other speculations are that the device will come with a HD Retina display and Gorilla Glass 2 (Probably).
We will be there at the event reporting live and would love to see what Apple has got for us!
