Adobe has released the public beta of the next major version of Photoshop, the Adobe Photoshop CS6. The new beta software is available as a free download when in beta period and comes with numerous improvements like content-away move, video editing and a new cropping tool. For the first time, the Photoshop sports a cool new dark interface and also improved layers management features.
The download would burn 1GB of your bandwidth and the software is pretty stable except that there are some minor bugs. But here’s the catch, if you are trying out the beta, you’d want to register yourself with the Adobe ID and then use the software. Serial numbers are not required to run the software. The system requirements are pretty much the same as the CS5. It requires a 2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and a Multi-code Intel processor on a Mac.
The beta version’s expiry date is yet to be revealed by Adobe. But the CS6 is expected to hit the market this year, somewhere in the mid of Q3 2012. [Image Source: The Verge]
