Google unifies all the developers resources to developers.google.com! code.google.com to move soon!

Google has opened up the new developers.google.com to unify all the developers content at one place. They have got some plan for code.google.com too!

Google today announced their new website, developers.google.com, a place where aspiring developers could play around at one single place. The main aim of this site is to bringing in all the developers resources, events, projects, programs and other resources under one roof. The company has also revamped their developer resource like Google Developers YouTube Channel and also launched a new Google+ page for the developers. May be we would have hangout sessions with Googlers ?

In an official blogpost today by Mike Winton, Director of Google Developer Relations, broke this news and I think this is a good move by Google by getting all the developers resources come under one roof rather than making the developers search for Google related resources.

On talking more about this, Mike said:

code.google.com wasn’t built in a day (it’s been around for almost 7 years), and it will take some time to make the new Google Developers site at developers.google.com your single destination for all the resources we offer. But we’re working toward that goal every day. Soon, all our information will be on this new Google Developers site, and Google Code will return to its roots as an open source project hosting service.

So code.google.com is also making a move to developers.google.com soon! This is pretty exciting for people like me who always live on code.google.com! May be they would get a UI overhaul soon! Also remember to checkout their Developers Showcase site and It is completely amazing! More like www.chromeexperiments.com!
