Sony’s new XQD memory cards would hold unto 2TB of data right on your mobile devices. The cards have got a blazing fast transfer speeds and would soon become the future of mobile storage.
Sony has launched a new range of mobile storage cards, called the Sony XQD flash storage cards. The new range of memory cards are capable of holding data of unto 2TB and the company has promised that the XQD cards are blazing fast and are very compact, that they even fit on your regular memory card holders.
This impressive nature of the memory card now comes only with a 16GB and 32Gb storage capacities and are now preinstalled in the Nikon D4 cameras. There isn’t any signs of the 2TB memory cards at the moment, but Sony has a strong belief that they can get them out of their factory soon!
This would just change the way people use mobile devices for storage and this would be a revolutionary system to store data on your mobile phones. And this would be interesting for me, who loves to store a huge number of movies on the mobile devices to watch during long travels.
Well, how much do these crazy little devices cost? Well, not any cheaper. The 32GB XQD card comes for £150. Let’s hope that the future releases to be cheaper and better!
