Samsung’s ChatON is now available on Apple’s App Store for iOS users!

Apple has approved the Samsung’s ChatON application into the App Store. ChatON for iOS lets you chat with all the Samsung smartphones users from your iOS device, just like how iMessage works!

We all know the iMessage was a huge hit among the users of iOS devices and to back this up, Samsung came up with ChatON for its users, a mobile application that comes pre-installed with almost all the Samsung smartphones running Android OS. The app is multi-platform and is now available for Android, iOS and Samsung’s own platform, Bada.

The app will soon hit the BlackBerry users and also the Windows Market Place, thus conquering all the major mobile platforms. The ChatON app comes with group chat, broadcast messaging, scribble like feature and as with all other platforms’ messaging service, comes with Video, Audio and photos sharing features.

You can grab your copy of ChatON from the iTunes App Store from here. The app has already crossed over 500, 000 installs on the Android market and is considered a hit among the Android users. And obviously, this would contribute to the reduced SMS messaging usage on the mobile phones!

  • This is great. Does this also mean a start of a “partnership” between this two giants.
