Apple has reportedly planned to hold an event to talk more about iBooks and Publishing in the New York City this Friday. The event is expected to be more towards the Publishing industries, rather than just Customers.
The Geek Center does not encourage spreading rumors, but we just couldn’t resist when we came to know about the Apple’s event. Apple’s events has always been flawless and would satisfy all the Apple fans across the globe and this event, which is expected to happen this Friday at New York City, might bring that joy back to us.
According to a number of websites like TechCrunch, 9to5Mac and others, Apple is planning to hold a special media event this week, Friday to be precise, to talk about the iBooks to the Publishers of the country. Having said this, there will not be any new hardware that would be unveiled at the event. The event is expected to be leaning towards the publishing industry rather than the regular product launches.
May be, this was the event that Steve talked about in his biography. Where he said that he has found a way to revolutionize the books that are being used! The event might involve more about Newsstand, the iBooks Store, and a dedicated place to revolutionize books! This is what I could imagine. But we just can’t guess what Apple has got in its mind!
But please remember that this is just a rumor and not an officially confirmed event. This might or might not be true. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for the new Apple event! If suppose the event happens, we would be there reporting live from the event! Stay tuned!
