Twitter has released a native TweetDeck app for Mac on the Mac App Store and the app is now available for free for you to download. There’s not much feature additions for the app.
TweetDeck has been one of the most popular and comprehensive app for almost all platforms, ranging from iOS to Windows for a long time and the app was acquired by Twitter recently. With this said, the social networking giant has released a new version of the app in the Mac App Store with customizable columns, refined search queries and some more features that make it very special when compared to other minimalist twitter clients.
The app offers the Mac OS X Lion users with full screen support and an interface that has been refined to make it look better than usual. But what to expect from this new app? Well, as far as I saw, there are a lot of bugs that are to be fixed in the app. Some bugs are really annoying. Like the one to open a picture from twitter, and also some links that are needed to be opened in the browser.
If you are already using Twitter for Mac as your primary Twitter client, then my suggestion for you would be to stay with that app. But if you are a power user and want a whole lot of twitter experience at one single glance, then TweetDeck would be your best bet. You can download the app for free from the Mac App Store now!
