A new folder in Mac OS X would allow you to sync documents across your Macs with the same iCloud accounts. This small trick would let you use this feature seamlessly.
A folder called Mobile Documents has been discovered in Mac OS X that helps iCloud in syncing documents across Macs via the iCloud. Apple has not yet implemented syncing files across the Macs and iDevices via iCloud but not so far from now, it will be available and this folder shows us the doorway for it.
The folder named Mobile Documents is in the Library directory in Mac OS X Lion. And interestingly this folder syncs the files across devices via iCloud. Right now, the iCloud is capable of syncing only Documents and not any other file. The folder is not yet integrated completely with iCloud but works seamlessly for syncing files across Macs wirelessly.
To access this folder, all you need to do is go to ~/Library folder on your Mac and then go to Mobile Documents folder. You will find a folder named com~apple~pages. Now, to try the sync, just copy paste a .pages document into this folder and it would seamlessly across Macs that use same iCloud account.

[alert_box type=”Error”]Just make sure you don’t delete any folder inside the Mobile Documents folder.[/alert_box]This trick works only with Mac OS X Lion, since they depend on iCloud. iCloud isn’t available for Snow Leopard users yet.
