Microsoft released the next beta of their Kinect for Windows SDK today, accompanied by a new branding called Kinect for Windows and a dedicated blog for the product.
Microsoft releases Kinect for Windows SDK few months before and has already grabbed some considerable amount of interest with the developers. And today, Microsoft has released the second beta of the SDK with which Microsoft promises some great future for the SDK.
The Microsoft Kinect for Windows commercial program will go on the floor for an early 2012 launch and about 200 companies have reportedly signed up for the pilot program. Some more companies are expected to take part in this program when it launches commercially in 2012.
Microsoft today tweeted from their official @KinectSDKTeam that today is a big day for for their team and they now have a dedicated twitter handle and a new blog setup for the website.

The new beta 2 of the SDK includes a skeletal tracking mechanism for accurately tracking the joints and skeletal structures. The new SDK also has some improvements to plug the Kinect into your computers without losing any data.
